Questions about the ingredients of our chocolate
Our chocolate contains all natural organic nuts, seeds, herbs, roots and fruit. Some people might be allergic to these foods. If you think you are allergic, consult your doctor and taste only a very small portion to see if you have any allergic reaction. No wheat is used in chocolate, so it is gluten free. In case you have an allergic reaction, go to your doctor or hospital immediately.
Absolutely. Our chocolate contains only plant based ingredients. No animal products, dairy or eggs. However, we can provide carnivores a recipy for chicken in chocolate sauce!
Our products contain only whole, natural, unmodified, natural ingredients. It is not a food supplement or a concentrated vitamin preparation. It can however contribute to a healthy diet and lifestyle. And hey, who wants to swallow pills if you can enjoy healthy chocolate?
The cacao seeds and other ingredients we use for our chocolate come from sustainable South American and African fairtrade cooperatives, where the farmers are paid a fair price for their labour, with respect for natural habitats and forests.
The higher the percentage, the higher the quantity of cacao in the chocolate. In most chocolate, the rest of the % is sugar, milk powder and milk fat. That is why higher cacao % chocolate is less sweet. For our chocolate, we use no milk and only unrefined palm flower sugar, which contains more vitamins and has a lower glycemic index than refined sugar.
Questions about the health benefits of our chocolate
Healthy food is certainly compatible with any medication, but it is not a replacement for medical treatments. On the other hand, 2500 years ago Hippocrates alrady posted: "Let food be thy medicine, and let medicine be thy food." In Greek of course that would have sounded like "φήστε το φαγητό να είναι το φάρμακό σας και το φάρμακο να είναι η τροφή σας"
All food is harmfull if you eat too much of it, even water is deadly if you drink too much. All ingredients of our chocolate are healthy if consumed in a moderate way. Be aware of any personal allergies for nuts and seeds. Chocolate is a superfood with high nutritional and energetic value, even without added sugar. So eating a lot of chocolate might provide you with more energy than you use, which can lead to gaining weight.
It is scientifically proven that nuts, seeds, fruit, roots and herbs are part of a healthy diet. Cacao seeds have been a superfood for thousands of years, before it was transformed to a sugary candy in the 20th century. Chocolate has also a high content of vitamine P(leasure)!

We deliver worldwide, with refrigerated transport. From our production table to your dining table takes only a couple of days. Anyway, make sure you always have your supply of chocolate ICE (In Case of Emergency)
Drak chocolate remains fresh for up to 2 years, if kept dry and below a temperature of 22 degrees Celsius. Our chocolate does not contain dairy ingredients, that are most sensitive to expiration. We are shure your appetite will beat the expiration date.

Our camel logo refers to the ancient culture of spices and herbs trading routes on the Arabian Peninsula, as a gateway between Asia, Africa and Europe. The camel also stands for strenght, endurance and life force over extreme environments. Basically, we find camels pretty cool animals.
Cacao is the botanical name of the plant and refers also to the raw unprocessed seeds. Cocoa is the English name for the processed powder. In all other languages the name cacao is used for all different stages of the product. It is actually widely believed that the word cocoa has its origins in a spelling mistake. Anyway, there is no such thing as cocoa beans or cocoa plants. Also note that the cacao fruit contains seeds, not beans.
Keep it in a cool, dark, dry place, at a temperature between 18 and 22 degrees Celsius. Keep it wrapped or in an airtight box, and away from items or environments with strong odor. If your room temperature is higher than 24 degrees, you can keep chocolate in the refrigerator, but allow it to warm up before consuming, so that all delicious aromas are set free.
